“Happiness is the new rich. Inner peace is the new success. Health is the new wealth. Kindness is the new cool.”
I came across that quote the other day and it really resonated with me. I wanted to share it with you all simply because sometimes we all need these reminders from time to time.
And now that I think of it — and bear with me because I’m literally just thinking (or typing) out loud here, maybe I should preface all of my future posts with quotes, sayings, or reminders that are special to me. I think it’d make my posts feel a little more meaningful and to some extent could also serve as a diary of reflections. And who knows, maybe one day I’ll post something on here that’ll actually help brighten someone’s day or help them through a tough situation. Feel free to let me know what you think!
Now lets talk about this dreamy sheer embroidered kimono. This breezy maxi cardi is actually supposed to be a swim cover-up and I got it with the intentions of wearing poolside at a friend’s bachelorette weekend in Palm Springs. But unfortunately that never happened because I wasn’t able to attend the festivities. 🙁 I was seriously so bummed and had MAJOR FOMO the entire weekend. Since this kimono was just hanging in my closet, practically staring at me I decided I wasn’t going to wait for a vacation to wear it. Instead I decided to dress it up with wide legged trousers and a simple tank. I’ve really been into minimalistic looks lately, so I was definitely feeling this monochrome ensemble.
