off the shoulder madness

Whenever I wear an off the shoulder top I always feel like I’m exuding major Kelly Kapowski vibes and being that she was my favorite character in Saved By The Bell — one of my favorite shows of all time — I am not mad at it! It’s a cute way to show a little bit of skin without being too risqué.

And because all things 90’s are making a comeback, I couldn’t help but complete the look with a choker. I normally don’t like anything super constricting around my neck because it makes me uncomfortable and quite literally makes me feel like I’m being choked but I reallllllllyyy wanted to wear a necklace because it felt like something was missing. Since I didn’t have any chokers on hand due to my slight phobia, I ended up using a simple ribbon that I had from a gift box. Loved how the stripes on the ribbon coordinated perfectly with the stripes on the top — I really do find joy in small things like that haha.

Note: since the top and shoes that I’m wearing have sold out in a few sizes, I linked a few alternative options that I’m loving. To shop, click the photos below.
